Started working on projects again as of today. After a nearly four year sabbatical from the world of 3D art work (I actually stopped about the time I signed up for DA, and subsequently never put up any of my 3D stuff) I have decided to get back in the ring, as it were. Back in the good 'ol days, I used Rhino and Bryce, because they were cheap, and the school could afford them. These days I'm using a demo of 3DS Max 8, and doing my very best to get as much use out of it as I can, before the 30 day trial ends. After that, my 3D stuff will dry up for a while, or I'll find an alternative (either use another program, or something else). If I really enjoyed it and felt it worth the investment, I would love to buy it. But such a consideration is a good 27 days away!

So far, all I've done are a couple basic models and tutorial stuff, so that won't get posted. This said, right now I'm cobbling together a Panzer III (I chose this, because it was angular and therefore a good beginning project). in a few days (maybe a coupld weeks?), I should have it done (and ideally, I'd really like to texture it as well).

So, yes, that's where I'm at now.
